Candidates for admission to the first year of the Master of Business Administration Degree Course shall be required to have any one of the following qualifications :
- A pass in any branch of study of a Bachelor Degree/Master Degree of the University of Madras or any other University recognised by the UGC/AIU or a qualification accepted by this University as equivalent thereto.
- A Professional Degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine/Architecture/Law.
- Professional qualification in Accountancy, Cost & Works Accountancy, Company Secretaryship.
ADMISSION OF CANDIDATES FROM OTHER COUNTRIES
Candidates from abroad, seeking admission to M.B.A. / M.C.A. / M.Sc.(I.T.) Post-Graduate Professional Courses offered by the Institute of Distance Education, University of Madras, should submit their application along with two copies of the syllabus studied by them and also an “EQUIVALENCE CERTIFICATE” obtained from the University Grants Commission (UGC) / Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, in conformity with the course undergone by them as equivalent to the courses offered in the recognised Indian Universities. Besides, all Original Certificates with two sets of attested xerox copies of the relevant certificates should be enclosed along with the application form. Otherwise, the application submitted by the candidate is liable for cancellation without any intimation.
